The clients were asked which carriers they preferred to travel with to the respective destinations of Zimbabwe.

Harare: The results revealed an overall preference of passengers to travel to Harare was with Air Zimbabwe garnering 58%. 

When asked for what reason clients would choose a particular carrier, 38 per cent considered the most significant factor was the price determining their choice. .

31 per cent thought flight schedule and flexibility were the most significant factors for airlines flying to Zimbabwe.

Whereas 28 per cent had a preference for any airline offering reasonable and adequate baggage allowance.

With respect to all destinations(Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria falls) clients said the airlines they preferred the least were the airlines, who had overnight stopover en rout to destination airport or on the return; and did not provide hotel accomodation.

When asked which airline clients traveling with families having young children would prefer to fly to Bulawayo and Victoria falls, majority voted for Airlines with straight connections, avoiding overnight stops.
